T-shirt showing Iraq deaths is needed reminder of war
... <Bob> Pearson and his wife, Beth, are the parents of Sgt. Brice Pearson, a 32-year-old paratrooper from Avondale who was killed in Iraq on April 23, 2007 ... His name is among the 4,000 or so listed in tiny print on Frazier's T-shirt ...

We shouldn't need a T-shirt to remind us that there is a war still going on, but if that's what it takes, it's OK with Bob Pearson.

"Ideally, you don't want people to forget, but it sure seems as if that's what they want to do," he said. "My son was happy with his choice. He thrived in the military, and he believed in what he was doing. But I don't see any way that staying over there makes sense. We need to find ways not to lose any more young people" ...
