Bush Economic Team Suffering "economic deafness"
Had a chuckle reading this article on the current bumbling of the Bush economic team.

<snip> "I think there's a combination of a little bit of tone deafness on the part of some of the economic appointees, coupled with a little economic deafness on the part of others in the administration," said David Wyss, chief economist for Standard and Poor's in New York.

1. I don't think they're bumbling.
They are out to turn us into a society of privileged royalty serviced by a huge population of slaves/serfs, and they are moving rapidly with great success.

3. Bush is not economically deaf
he hears what his people want, and goes the extra mile.
For the middle and labor classes, he is holding his hands
over his ears and going "LA LA LA LA, I CANT HEAR YOU!"

Just like he always does for stuff he doesn't want to listen to.
It's a trick Babs taught him sitting on her corpulent lap as a wee tyke.

4. "The stock market is, after all, the final arbiter" - WTF?!?!
Man, Elaine (No Overtime For You!) Chao is even more clueless and politically tone-deaf than even I'd thought!
