Updates with commentary. Some selected highlights:

Grits has another terrific update and summing up of the facts thus far. He does a great job of comparing and contrasting those facts with the reports from the MSM.

Brooke Adams is a reporter (for the Salt Lake Tribune), and she knew the call was a hoax within a week of the raid, using no more information than was available to any other reporter.

Elias-Perciful filed an amicus brief with the SCoT on behalf of the State. She sounded bitter and shrill, claiming the 3rd ignored the obvious evidence of the 20 females who had been pregnant as minors.... Notice how she leapt from talking about the 20 girls from 13-17, including the 5 current minor mothers who are from 16-17 (she might have said 15, but I'm pretty sure it's 16)- into this apocryphal story of an 11 year old and issues not in evidence.

The FLDS website has an interesting story up. It's purportedly by the woman who raised Flora Jessop, and she wants to set the record straight.

The attorney for the under-aged girl who may have a child being claimed by another mother has filed an emergency stay for her client: "Natalie E. Malonis, a guardian ad litem who represents a child who is also a mother in state custody, has filed an an emergency motion to prevent the return of her client, saying the court's order will cause "immediate and irreparable harm to the physical safety and welfare of the child."

A Grand Jury met today and handed down 18 indictments in the FLDS case, but we don't yet know about what or to whom.

Heh. I like Andrea Sloan. She's the attorney who insisted that, since the state had told us all they had a pregnant 14 year old, it certainly was relevant that their youngest pregnant minor was not pregnant at all.
