CIA blackmail so that the Bushes could rake in war $$$$$$$

SueAnn Arrigo offers a glimpse and at great personal risk. In August 2001, DCI George Tenet told her to assemble "a moving van full of Pentagon documents showing Defense Contractor kickbacks to Pentagon officials." She did as instructed but not to expose corruption as she learned - to conceal it and in her judgment so CIA could divert defense business to Halliburton and "Carlyle-related contractors." She stated: "The mood at the CIA and Pentagon was 'war is coming' because the Bush Family stands to make billions from it -- so get ready."

Arrigo was shocked at what she found and how brazenly the Pentagon wrote it up because it feels untouchable, especially since 2001. That notion proved misguided after CIA used the material to blackmail or bribe its officials "into 'working on' the Halliburton-Carlyle team." Top CIA types were involved, and Tenet laid it out for Arrigo: You've "given me the keys to the kingdom. (These) documents will make me rich."

Arrigo knew too much, took risks to learn it, and what happened next is shocking. Halliburton's "CIA Representative" confronted her, tore out her phone, ransacked her office, removed every shred of paper, and hauled her off bodily "to a prison cell" inside its basement offices. She was intimidated and threatened. Thought she might be killed. She survived, but the message was clear. She complained to Tenet. Showed him her bruises. He responded dismissively: "There, there, everything will be all right in the morning.

What more proof is needed to show that we must back Kucinich on impeachment?

1. This is strange. I am able to open the document, but my computer freezes up.

I tried to copy the link to send it to someone, but it wouldn't allow me to copy, I couldn't scroll down to read the article nor click on anything in the article. I had to shut down and reboot. When I checked my history, the link wasn't there nor any other links I'd been to except AOL, weather, etc., so I opened DU, found this post and tried again. Same thing.

Could someone open that link and tell me if they can copy the address and/or if their computer locks up?

was posted in June of 2007.
If she was called before Henry Waxman in May of this year, you've got to think that Waxman had vetted Dr. Arrigo and was aware of her sister's claim about her mental state. This doesn't make sense.

I edited the post with the straight URL so that you can see it. I have no idea what is going on for you. I can go to the link back and forth with no problem. I get At Largely in my regular RSS feed through Google Reader so I'm stumped as to the problem.

9. I just went directly to the site with www.com address and it did the same thing.

I've tried six times. Once I get into the site, I am OK until I try to index/scroll down. As soon as I click on anything on the page, it locks up and I have to reboot.

There was another woman at the Rock Island Arsenal before the war started who blew the whistle on no bid contracts and discrepancies. She was demoted, if I remember correctly. Can't remember her name.

14. The articles get into HIV and bio-warfare supplies in Iraq - now that

bio-warfare one is really interesting because I remember reading about our soldiers being given an assignment to go to some location in Iraq - immediately after Mission Accomplished to remove chemicals left there from Iraq War I. The soldiers became very ill.

"That review was authorized because Bush, Sr. had sold dangerous Bio-Warfare agents to Hussein, which I ended up having to recover from Iraq." This is Arrigo writing to a Cantwell.

She may have problems, but working for this admin, it may not be genetic.

Remember how far back the tests on our soldiers started. The military went crazy over the possibilities of drug effects - they because ambitious and zealous from what I;ve read. One group (returning Black American soldiers received apologies.

15. Isn't that just it?

That so much has happened and been covered up that it seems like there is no bottom for what members of this administration will do. Knowing that torture was greenlit at the White House, that elected government officials have been imprisoned, and that the administration does not believe itself bound by the Constitution or even laws W signs into effect, how can we disbelieve even what seems like an outlandish story? To me, the Bush administration simply no longer has any credibility.
