I imagine most of you are familiar with Simon Hoggart's blog in the Guardian, and earlier column, but for those of you who haven't, you have a treat in store.

A comedian once pointed out that satire really depended upon right-wing politics, and in its most pristine form, what post-War II Tory Government could have compared with La Thatcher's? Even compared to the control freakery and corporatism of New Labour, under Blair and now, Brown, she and her brood were in a class of their own, but he still has great fun with this crew.
