I'm Standing With Imus in the Morning (Huffington Report)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/stephen-kaus/im-standing-with-imus-in_b_108818.html

Don Imus is being newly and wrongly accused of a racist comment. Since I have been entertained mightily by Imus for thirty years, I am happy that this time I can stand up for him.....

Imus' new show has all the humor without the cringing. It is funnier than ever, with new cast members and a whole new group of broadcast personnel and executives to skewer. Imus has covered racial matters exceedingly well, including having Dick Gregory on the show for extended stints.

1. imus' problem is that he has used negative racial language in
the past and gotten away with it. nobody wants to tolerate his bs now. i understand what he was saying but, he needs to stay away from racial crap for a little while. give america time to forget again and then they'll get off his back.

3. He is too vulgar for my taste
Although I did used to dig his NY radio program back in the 70's.

I don't think he has any talent. I think his show is crap. I haven't been entertained by him in over 20 years.

4. Howard Stern & Robin Quivers have often mentioned Imus' off air racism that made secretary cry
He apparently used the N word freely on the office staff when he and stern worked in the same studions.

5. A don't know what all the fuss is about
he is a flaming racist. Always has been. We should have known he would do it again. Not only is he a racist, but he is an untalented hack. I feel no pity for him.
