Sarah Palin and Dominionism

Sarah Palin it appears now, was chosen very carefully as she comes out of the very fundamentalist evangelical circles that the CNP uses to mobilize and shape America’s political agenda.

Palin reportedly drew early attention from state GOP leadership when, during her first mayoral campaign, she ran on an anti-abortion platform. Normally, political parties do not get involved in Alaskan municipal elections because they are nonpartisan. But once word of her evangelical views made its way to Juneau, the state capitol, state Republicans put money behind her campaign. According to researcher, Charley James, "Once in office, Palin set out to build a machine that chewed up anyone who got in her way. The good, Godly Christian turns out to be anything but."

The religious background of Sarah Palin is not unrelated to her bid to take the nation’s second highest office. She herself has been extremely vague about that background. Given the details, it becomes clearer perhaps why.

Sarah Palin has spent more than two and a half decades of her life as a member of an Alaska church which is part of a fanatical Christian-named cult project that is sweeping across America. Palin comes out of the most radical stream of US Born-Again Evangelism known as ‘Joel’s Army,’ an offshoot of what is called Dominionism and sometimes also called the Latter Rain cult or Manifest Sons of God. The movement deliberately attempts to remain below the radar screen.

Sarah Palin is a product of an extreme fringe of the American Evangelical movement known variously as the Third Wave Movement, also known as the New Apostolic Reformation, or as Joel's Army, a part of what is called Dominionism. Until 2002 according to their own website, Palin was a member of Wasilla Assembly of God with Senior Pastor Ed Kalnins. Online video clips of Palin speaking from the pulpit of this church are revealing. Curiously, between the time this article was begun on September 9th and the 11th, the video was removed without explanation:

As one researcher familiar with the history of the Third Wave Movement or Dominionism describes, ‘The Third Wave is a revival of the theology of the Latter Rain tent revivals of the 1950s and 1960s led by William Branham and others. It is based on the idea that in the end times there will be an outpouring of supernatural powers on a group of Christians that will take authority over the existing church and the world. The believing Christians of the world will be reorganized under the Fivefold Ministry and the church restructured under the authority of Prophets and Apostles and others anointed by God. The young generation will form ‘Joel’s Army’ to rise up and battle evil and retake the earth for God.’

Isn't "psychosis" a disconnect from reality? These people believe a whole brainful of things that sound crazy to us because they are so obviously false, the stuff of dreams and fancy.

If there were a cult that believed that Santa Claus is real, offering prayers to him, taking pilgrimages to what's left of the North Pole, dressing as elves in fealty to their god, etc., everyone would recognize that the cult members must be crazy or brainwashed in some way. They would be marginalized.

Why, then, does the Normal Majority not recognize that these Dominionist Christianists represent a cult with beliefs much farther out than any Santa Claus cult could ever be? And much more harmful to our nation, our world, and our planet!

Why are these crazies allowed to control our country rather than being marginalized? I truly don't get it.

Since the Protestant Reformation, the political powers of the various denominations have been reduced. Philosophies based on objective reasoning came to the fore. However, the ebb and flow
of human thought has turned back to the point where religion has again become a prime political
enabler, particularly the Evangelistic sects in the United States and to a lessor degree, the U.K.
Without going into reasons, it is apparent that religion and racism have contributed to the rise of
Republicanism in America with disastrous results of the American people and for other Countries that have been effected by them.

Ironically, those who are afflicted by religious and racial fervor are continuing to elect officials who answer to the needs of the International Corporations rather than to the very factions that put them into office. In the process, all suffer from bad government except those who are racking in the money.

The Democratic Party lost it's Southern power base when it passed the civil rights legislation. The White racists simply shifted to the Republican Party giving them total control of all of the Southern states, a situation that has continued up to the present with little hope that there will be much change there even though the demographics are slowly moving toward a more balance voting constituency. The "Bible Belt" = the "Ignorance Belt" = "Robots for Republicans".

that means if russia were to invade georgia, she might be able to fly over there and step in front of the tanks, warding off bullets and bending turrets.

she might be able to wave her hands and make food grow in areas of famine. who knows; she may be able to snap her fingers or do a samantha stevens and fill the coffers of the treaury.

this supernatural thing could be an asset she has to help the country. has anyone contacted the mccain campaign about using that in an ad? that could be the point of difference that puts them over the top.

8. Most of American is mostly likely completely unaware of dominionism

and Joel's Army. The ONLY good thing about Sarah Palin being nominated is that now, finally, at last those of us who have been trying to warn others will no longer seen as kooks. People absolutely positively refuse to believe that the domionist cult has been pervading the very fabric of this country. All people know is that 'something is wrong' but can't figure out why. These people are why.

They are insidious, nasty, evil people who will not stop until their version of a wahabism is set up right here in the US. What is extremely disturbing and absolutely horrifying is the Joel's Army aspect to this cult. Their 'prophets' explicitly tell teens and 20 year olds to ARM themselves with the upcoming civil war. They they are literally god's warriors. The connection between Eric Prince (funding domionist groups), Blackwater and Joel's Army should be enough to call in the Dept of Justice. Oh, but wait! Dominionst lawyers have been installed within the dept. protecting these very people, keeping them under the radar. Huckabee and Hagee have direct links to Joel's Army.



There really is a spiritual warfare going on in this country and if they keep it quiet, they think we won't be able to counteract it. Their symbol is John Ashcroft draping Justice. In this minds, this is more than a metaphor, it is what they want to do. This is real and as a result, it should be real to us too.

Do a search on Daily Kos on Joels' Army and Domionism - there are diaries after diaries of the warnings, political and financial connections of these cults. To go talk2action dot org and live journal on dark christianity. Southern Poverty Law Center also.

Once SP is run off the political stage, investigators need to go public with this information and they need to especially go after "The Family or The Fellowship", the group that is really running things in DC. That is where these groups get their marching orders, from the top down, and you'd really be surprised who in Congress and Senate are embedded with this cult with power.

Sorry to rant on, but this information needs to be broadcast often to the moderates who do not want wahhabism to come here.
