Someone there who is a member of the group responsible for it, said that they have studied the response to the ad, and people have changed their minds about Palin after watching it.
It is hard to watch. And I agree, if it gets wide exposure it will wake people up instantly, to the kind of person Palin is and have a huge effect, even on those who support her.
