So, I went to my polling place at about 6:50 this morning, where I waited in line outside in the rain (drizzle, really) with about 50 others. :-)
When the doors opened at 7, they let us in and formed the line down the hallway at the school, within minutes, there were more people behind me than in front. They had twice as many voting machines as they have in past elections (I worked the primary and general in the 2004 election, we only had six machines then) and there was one machine that was "acting up." The poll worker quickly closed that machine down and had the election IT folks on the line walking her through the problem within minutes.
I have to admit, I got a little teary when I pressed that first box on the machine. Obama / Biden.
This is going to go well. I can feel it. We may not take Utah but we're taking our country back.

in downtown Philly this morning, and the whole crew was composed of Obama supporters high fiving the people who had already voted. Almost euphoria at the polls.
