It’s over

A hurricane is howling across the planet caused by a collective sigh of relief. A messianic figure emerged from the depths of obscurity and captured the highest office of the United States of America. The duality of collectivism and individualism comes to the oasis of agreement. It took an individual to aspire the collective. That individual is Barack Obama, now the 44th president. Yes, he is the first bi-racial man to be in an office that was held mostly by White Old Rich Men, there is something more profound that meets the eye. His mind is intellectually strong, his soul is Zen, his heart is Christ-like and his physic is lean and mean like Abraham Lincoln. Obama is the perfect man for these troubled times. U.S Americans should form a protective circle around him. We cannot lose him like Martin, Abraham and John.
For 8 years, USA was 3 inches from fascism. There was a dark cloud over the nation. There was talk about some taking exile in other countries. There were even talk of arm struggle. U.S Americans mistrusted each other. We were guarded while talking on the phone, in fear of wiretaps. We were afraid to express ourselves in fear of being labeled Un-America. The media scared us with terrorist threats. Airports were armed security camps. We thought about conspiracies by the government. We were afraid of being labeled an enemy combatant and then being subjected to torture in a foreign country. All there was poverty of spirit with fear and self-loathing.
At this point of time the only thing I lust for is JUSTICE. I know, I know that our newly elected president will take the Christian approach of forgiveness. Not me! I believe in punishment. For all those who took this nation to the pits of hell I want to see and feel of arrest, trial and conviction. This is pay back time. Gore Vidal said we live in, “United States of Amnesia”. It’s true! A lot of U.S Americans will forget about the crimes against us. I will never forget. One by one, the criminals will disappear in the deserts of obscurity. They will take it on the lamb. They made tons of money and can spend the rest of their lives in luxury. I want that money back!
For the time being, we should rejoice in this small victory. HOWEVER, the class war still rages on, this was only one victory. The road ahead is fraught with more struggle and
Pain. At least we have an ally in the White House or do we? I hope we do. I like that word, HOPE.
