10. The timing is perfect. Bush will be out of office and it would be
Obama that would have to do the pardoning. It takes time to schedule a trial. The President can't pardon someone that has not been convicted of a crime. Indictment is not conviction. The crime is what is pardoned. :dem:

One of many points of evidence was Ford's pardon of Richard Nixon, who was never convicted of anything, or even tried for anything.

4. too bad they got him on the not so important issues like
investments.. what about the criminial war in iraq? what about the firing of legal attorneys'? what about a dozen other lists of criminalities cheney has been involved on the past eight years? He is being indicted on a white collar criminial crime..how about the crime against humanity?
