Post Mortem on the Bush Years: Who was the Worst? |
|
Rate the worst people who helped shape policies int he Bush Administration. which guy made the biggest impact on destroying America as we know it. Colin Powell, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Mike Brown, Alberto Gonzales? I’ve got the odds set, but there’s plenty of opportunities for more nominees and shifting of those odds. http://allspinzone.com/wp/2008/11/20/post-mortem-on-the-bush-years-who-was-the-worst/

We lost a major world city and thousands of lives right here on American soil.

6. It will be easy to see who in a few years. |
|
The ones who get away scot free are likely the worst. I expect Cheney and Rove to be the ones who pile up the most underlings in front of them to avoid prosecution.
This is going to be one of the most studied Presidential Administrations ever, because historians can't resist a challenge and the Bush Administration has provided them with a classic case of lies, document destruction, and secrecy. It was Cheney and Rove who were in charge of that most malevolent aspect of this horrible, horrible government.
But here's the thing: the Bush Administration relied entirely upon criminals for its policy formulation, execution, and the communication of those policies through secret back-channels. Criminals were in charge of those millions of illegal emails sent outside of the government servers. And I'll guarantee you that dozens of those criminals saved some or all of those emails as protection. So did NSA. So too, probably, did the Israelis and the Chinese. Moles and conspirators will certainly be left behind to try to redact and redirect the official record, but the unofficial record will grow and grow until it far exceeds the official story in size, weight, and importance.
For the rest of our lives there will be a never-ending drip of damning evidence against the Bush Administration, and for most of the rest of our lives the Republican Party will be open to blackmail by those same criminals, spies and foreign entities.

8. It's So Hard to Choose! |
|
Does one go for breadth, or depth of disaster? And mostly it was a group effort. Lots of people could have opposed the destruction, but didn't.
I'd pick Greenspan, myself. It will take generations to clean up the mess he left all over the world.

11. Chaney gets grand champ, with Rove as a close reserve grand champ. |
|
Chaney is the worst because clearly there would have been no Iraq War II without the dickhead.

Isn't that a show dog term? Or maybe show horses? Quick, someone call Mike Brown to figure that out. Meanwhile, stop comparing Cheney and Rove to our faithful animal friends.

16. Right. Pigs can be trained to fine truffles. Dickhead shoots friends in the face and starts wars. |

We might want to refer to "The Scooter" and to "The Gonzo" to refer to Libby and Gonzales?
Anyone for "The Turd Blossom?"
