Making Fun of Democrats: The Obama Action Figure

Republicans cheapen themselves through their marketing all the time. I’ve made fun of their action figures of Bush, Cheney, Palin and McCain. I do not make fun of the action figure of Barack Obama, but instead critique the people marketing the figure, buzzflash.com, progressives who should know that dignity should come far in front of raising money.

Getting pissed at people trying to make a buck is a waste of time. If you're looking for decorum, go to a monastery.

The cheapening of America will continue apace, no matter how many people protest. See, for every protester, ten assholes will shell out the money they should be donating to Citizens Energy to keep people warm in their homes this winter to buy that uglyass doll. And it's a cartoon doll, not an "action figure." That phrase is the one that homophobic "AMERICAN DAD" men use because they don't want their man-children playing with "dolls!"

adore squirrels; I feed them all winter, but the poses of the dolls are so perfect! LOL!!

I just don't want to see an Obama doll, action figure, whatever. And I don't want to see progressives trying to make money with one.

That said, I am pleased at Buzzflash's reaction:

That’s okay, we can handle criticism. We just disagree. Action figures are fun. The Republican action figures weren’t meant to mock them. They were just campy tributes to them. We just don’t see a problem with an Obama action figure. Politics are too heavy as it is. We need to lighten up sometimes. That being said, we love All Spin Zone. We will even post this article on BuzzFlash.
