As Joe the Plumber Goes, so Goes the GOP Congress |
|
Who should the Republicans turn to for advice on the economic stimulus plan? These House and Senate Republicans are quite used to supporting the incompetence of the Bush Administration, so they've decided to bring in an unlicensed plumber and tax cheat, Joe Wirzelbacher, to advise them on the economy. I kid you not. http://allspinzone.com/wp/2009/02/03/as-joe-the-plumber-goes-so-goes-the-gop-house

22. This is a judgement problem |
|
As were all of the Republican problems of the last eight years. We're the ones who pay for those poor judgements.

8. They are also dead convinced that they need to run Sarah Palin in 2012 |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-03-09 08:41 AM by RJ Connors
That pretty much seals 8 years for President Obama (Gee, I really like using that title and I absolutely enjoy posting it on conservative websites) barring a just massive, colossal, fuck up.

the GOP in running Sarah Palin. Indeed, if they were to wander forty years in the wilderness, I'd be OK with that.

14. It's the opposite of everything they preach about deregulation & "free market". |
|
As usual Republicans don't even understand their own dogma.
We're supposed to kill government, deregulate, and let markets run wild BECAUSE this will cause the cream to rise to the top, so we'll get the best everything.
And then they put a lying, mediocre, ignorant, pudgy, phony named Sam, not Joe, up as a model of what we should aspire to.

17. Good point. It isn't that some degree of inconsistency is un-acceptable. |
|
It's that first you have to be honest enough to recognize and admit it.
And second you have to be smart enough to identify what inconsistencies are valid and what inconsistencies are LIES.
