Joe the Plumber to be a consultant for the GOP
By Karen Harper
Birmingham Progressive Politics Examiner

Can it possibly get any worse for the beleaguered Republican party? Rush Limbaugh is being called the de facto head of the Republican party and 55% of Republicans say they want party leaders to be more like Sarah Palin.

Earlier this week, Sarah Palin snubbed fellow Republicans when she told them she couldn't come to their annual retreat in Hot Springs, Virginia because she had important state business to attend to in Alaska. Then she flew to Washington and attended the elitist Alfalfa dinner, hosted by the exclusive Alfalfa club that only admitted women in 1994. When asked about her attendance at the exclusive function, Sarah Palin said she didn't want to miss the opportunity to have dinner with the President. Sarah Palin said in campaign speeches that then Senator Obama "palled around with terrorists" and was a socialist.

3. That's why Republicans are so angry
I guess. They know they're in a shambles and they don't understand why and so they're spewing anger every where. I've even been called a "broad" by one of my readers on an article. I got a big kick out of that. I guess the guy thought he was Mickey Spillane.

4. right - that same old bile from the past 8 years worked for them then
it should work now. At least that's the thought. Cut taxes. No big gov etc. Same old crap.

Just this time not as many are listening. The majority wants something new - something that has a prayer of a chance of working.

5. I've got a brilliant idea
we should get everyone we know to call into the Rush limbaugh show and tell him we think Joe the P should be vice-presidential running mate for Sarah P in 2012.
