David Crosby revealed as octuplets' father

LOS ANGELES, February 11, 2009--Singer David Crosby is the biological father of the octuplets that were born January 26 in California (where else?), it will be announced at a press conference later today.

Crosby, 67, has been a huge rock star for as long as most people can remember, but is most famous musically for the stuff he did before 1980. He last grabbed headlines in 2000, when it was revealed he had donated his DNA to high visibility lesbians Melissa Etheridge and Julie Cypher and essentially fathered two young children.

Crosby struck up a conversation with eventual octuplet mother Nadja Suleman at a fast-food drive up window in 2005, and agreed to donate his sperm to her cause. It is uncertain whether he is the biological father of any of Suleman's previous children, but a source said the other kids more resemble Stills or Nash.

Crosby has at least two other children that he knows about.
