Future of the Republican party involved in Twitter scandal quits
Jeffrey Frederick, the GOP chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia was the subject of a video in yesterday's column where he stumbled through a 45 second cringe-worthy speech full of shameful mistakes.

Frederick's embarrassing speech is the least of the young Republican's troubles. Earlier this week, Frederick twittered the Virginia Republicans secret strategy to get a Democratic state senator to change sides which would have resulted in the Virginia GOP having full control of the state.

Democrats saw Frederick's twitter announcement and responded by talking to the Democrat in question and convincing him it wasn't in his best interest to change parties.

1. Keith Olbermann
did this guy on Friday - I think - as The Worst Person In The World.

He played the video of the guy's "speech." Cringeworthy, indeed. It was horrifying. I'm not even a Virginia Republican, and I was embarrassed.

2. That's the video I used...
it was hilarious. But sad too. The misinformation that Frederick gave on Darwin was pitiable and frustrating.

3. I couldn't watch it again - far too painful

"Gettyburg"?

Oh, the pain, the pain. I trust he's a product of the Virginia public school system. We have much to be ashamed of here in Mr. Jefferson's Commonwealth.

I just want to know that he was home-schooled by his fundie parents. That would make me feel better.

On edit - I looked him up via the google, and found this: http://www.va52.com/about.asp

He's Latino? And it says he graduated from "Oxford College and Emory University," but Oxford College is an undergraduate school within Emory University. Sneaky, making it look like he has an advanced degree.

Emory must be so proud. He got a degree in "economics and political science."

I still say he was home-schooled by fundies.

5. Frederick came across as extremely dumb in that speech.
Is the entire Republican Party turning into little Sarah Palins? How do they expect to regain a majority with clowns like Frederick (and Limbaugh, and Palin, and Beck, and all the rest) speaking for them?

Pathetic fools.

6. Seriously, I thank God that
they allow these knuckle draggers to be placed into critical positions. Go Frederick! Maybe you can run for Vice President one day!
