1. I bought his book and I need to read it again. Read it one night the
first time as it's not very long but a very provocative read. I loved it and Bugliosi nails Scalia and the Fascist Five to the cross!

2. I also read his book
I was so furious after the soft coup of 2000...I was seeking out something which could put that fury in context, and Bugliosi provided that.

He had a petition online, in fact, to call for the impeachment of the Supreme Court 5...which was conveniently lost in all the turmoil around 9-11.

I got involved, politically, because of the 2000 election. I started seeking out and commenting on political comment sections from political articles...which eventually led me to DU.

I was amazed and disgusted, before finding DU, to hear the threats from people who haunt Kausfiles, for instance, who would say things like...If Gore had been elected, he would have been assassinated by now...

The Republicans made a permanant enemy, and I think many permanant enemies, because of the 2000 election...because so many, like me, felt we HAD TO start paying closer attention and had to fight back immediately.

Makes me sort of "nostaligic" for a more innocent time when I just thought republicans were a bunch of crooks, rather than a bunch of neofascists and theocrats...and crooks...

3. I share your experience "Rain Dog." Well said...
"Makes me sort of "nostaligic" for a more innocent time when I just thought republicans were a bunch of crooks, rather than a bunch of neofascists and theocrats...and crooks..."

The past three years have been like walking through a hiddeous psycho-drama to me and many others. It's made some of us question the foundations of our belief about our Country and has hit many of us who always believed we were a "good people" in the gut when we saw what happened with "Selectin 2000." Although there were signs during the Clinton Administration that something was foul in the air...
