Obama understandably doesn't want to go there - but we should (Dowagiac MI Daily News)

... The Beltway bunch wants bygones to be bygones.

But a recent USA Today/Gallup poll showed 60 percent of Americans agree that investigating Bush's failed national-security policies should be considered.

President Obama is understandably fixated on the here-and-now and fixing damage going forward, just as Bill Clinton was urged to let the truth about scandals from the Reagan-Bush years - particularly Iran-Contra - stay concealed.

We know how that turned out ...
