2. An utter lack of fundie credentials--she has no shot
From her Wikipedia bio: "Whitman supports abortion rights and is considered a centrist Republican."

The fundies will not let her within shouting distance of the GOP nomination... period!

Of course, I doubt she has much of a shot of becoming the governor of California next year, either.
