Children killed in Iraq, the high price of this Occupation WARNING GRAPHIC
By Jeremy Cavanaugh

The graphic images of children killed in Iraq are images that should haunt every American and occupying power who is against this war.

These horrifying images of children, killed at a mosque in Fallujah that was bombed today by US air power should cause us all to cry out against this occupation of Iraq

1. Admittedly
I can't look at these kinds of images anymore. I did last year when the bombing first began because I wanted to face, at least from a "safe" distance, what was being done in my name as an American. It was horrible and sobering. I have a child and feel a terrible empathy for parents who lose their children (as I'm sure most other parents do). I don't understand how some can excuse and act indifferent to what's going on over there.

2. I understand your sentiment...
I debated using more images....but one was enough to convey the horrific nature of this crime. If none of us didn't feel empathy or a loss, there would be something wrong with us all. Thanks for your response.

4. It's a dilemma

I definitely don't think you're wrong to post images like this. More Americans should be aware of the horrors of war, if only to start feeling empathy for people on the other side of the world, people whose language many of us don't speak, and whose culture might be unfamiliar. In my opinion, it's too easy for some of us to treat war like a game, especially when the cable news networks sanitize it by showing the explosions and not the aftermath.
