Bush Memo Included Possible Plot Warning

JOHN SOLOMON

Associated Press

Some of the most current information in the so-called presidential daily briefing, or PDB, delivered to Bush on Aug. 6, 2001, came from reports U.S. intelligence had received in May 2001 about a possible plot for an explosives attack inside the United States, the sources told The Associated Press this week.

Also in August 2001, U.S. intelligence officials received two uncorroborated reports suggesting that terrorists might use airplanes, including one that suggested al-Qaida operatives were considering flying a plane into a U.S. embassy, current and former government officials said.

Those reports - among thousands of varied and uncorroborated threats received by the government each month - weren't deemed credible enough to tell Bush or his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, the officials said.

It also included the trips of suspected al-Qaida operatives, including some U.S. citizens, in and out of the United States. It suggested al-Qaida might have a support system in place on U.S. soil, the sources said.

A joint congressional inquiry report into Sept. 11 intelligence failures disclosed the May 2001 threat report last year but did not reveal it was included in Bush's briefing.

There are so many leads concerning prior knowledge of the 911 plot that are being ignored by this commission.

Ruppert's recent article is devastating. According to Ruppert the work of the 911 Commission is a load of bull:

LIES A SIXTH GRADER WOULD NOT ACCEPT

by

Michael C. Ruppert

<On no less than seven different occasions in today's long-awaited testimony before the September 11th Commission, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice insisted that there was no specific advance knowledge as to the time, place and method of the attacks, and that there was no warning of a domestic internal threat from Al Qaeda throughout the spring and summer of 2001. With these sworn statements the biggest vulnerability of the Bush administration in its criminal complicity for those attacks lies exposed and fully on the record. Ladies and gentlemen, what you witnessed today, on every major network, was perjury – a felony. We will prove that here. But compared to the crimes of murder, conspiracy and treason it was perhaps maybe too small a crime for the major media to notice...>

Comment: In addition to the numerous warnings from various state sources, the put option activity is circumstantial proof, that well connected people in the corporate investment world knew 911 was coming.

Here's a little tidbit from www.cooperativeresearch.net, an entry in their timeline that shows that the FBI had specific and credible indications of the targeting of the twin towers from an ISI operative in the states well before 911:

http://www.cooperativeresearch.net/timeline/updates/update15.html

<July 14, 1999: US government informant Randy Glass records a conversation at a dinner attended by him, illegal arms dealers Diaa Mohsen and Mohammed Malik (see June 12, 2001), a former Egyptian judge named Shireen Shawky, and ISI agent Rajaa Gulum Abbas, held at a restaurant within view of the WTC. FBI agents pretending to be restaurant customers sit at nearby tables. (WPBF Channel 25, 8/5/02, MSNBC, 8/2/02) Abbas says he wants to buy a whole shipload of weapons stolen from the US military to give to bin Laden. (Cox News, 8/2/02) Abbas points to the WTC and says, "Those towers are coming down." This ISI agent later makes two other references to an attack on the WTC. (WPBF Channel 25, 8/5/02, Cox News, 8/2/02, Palm Beach Post, 10/17/02) Abbas also says, "Americans the enemy," and, "We would have no problem with blowing up this entire restaurant because it is full of Americans." (MSNBC, 3/18/03) The meeting is secretly recorded, and parts are shown on television in 2003 (see also August 17, 1999).>

3. Not one person has been fired over this. Not one.
The second thing I asked for on 9/11 was to FBI and CIA leadership hanging from city lampposts.
