Lakenheath man marks anniversary of U.S. attack on Libya (bravo!)
When U.S. warplanes bombed Libya on April 15, 1986, they committed an act of terrorism, says Cyril Brown.

To make his point, Brown, 65, has stood a vigil every year on the anniversary of the attack outside RAF Lakenheath, England, which sent 24 F-111s on the operation.

“At the time, we thought it was such an act of terrorism,” said Brown, who stood Wednesday afternoon with a knot of friends for three hours outside the main gate. “It was done with the collusion of the (Margaret) Thatcher government.

“Why we’re doing it now is to remind people that terrorism isn’t ‘them’ and we’re the good guys. Don’t use terrorism and say it’s something else.”

1.  That wasn't terrorism..

That was a response to the Lockerbie bombing that killed hundreds of innocent people. Fuck Lybia. Qadaffi's kid got killed in that little operation, which seemed to straighten him the hell out.

4. No; if there was a response
then Lockerbie was a response to the bombing of Libya.

Libya: April 15, 1986 (from the article)

Lockerbie: 21st December 1988

So, if you think that Qadaffi did order Lockerbie, then it seems that, far from straightening him out, killing his kid just enraged him.
