During his trip to Russia, President Obama held a joint press conference with Russia President Dmitry Medvedev. The two presidents agreed to "reset" relations between the United States and Russia through cooperation on a number of issues.

Presidents Obama and Medvedev agreed to create a Bilateral Presidential Commission that will oversee the cooperation between the United States and Russia on issues that are critical to both nations. Not only will the two nations cooperate on reducing the number of nuclear weapons each nation holds, the U.S. and Russia will create cooperative groups to work on fighting international terrorism, fight drug trafficking, create business and economic relations, the cooperation of prevention and handling of emergency situations, along with educational and cultural exchanges, to name a few.
