2010 Midterms have Democrats favored at 50% over 44% for GOP
Excerpt:

According to a Gallup poll, if the midterm elections were held today 50% of registered voters say they would vote for the Democratic candidate in their district compared to 44% who say they would vote for their Republican candidate.

A lot depends on how the Democrats fare with President Obama's health care reform. If a majority of Democrats in the House and Senate cannot pass a viable health care reform bill that includes a public option, it's likely that the early numbers will change to favor the Republicans.

When over 70% of Americans want health care reform and Democrats are in the majority in both chambers of the House along with a Democratic president, health care reform that includes a public option should have no problem passing.

The Republican party argues against health care reform and especially a public option by citing studies by an "independent" research group, the Lewin Group. The Lewin Group is owned by United Health Care Insurance company. The fact that the GOP continually uses the Lewin Group to support their opposition to health insurance for every American demonstrates just who it is that the GOP is loyal to and it's not their constituents.

Addendum: Frankly , IMO, the Republicans are just digging
their hole deeper every day with all these outright lies
about the Health Insurance Reform and the race baaiting
against Obama especially.

2. I hope you're right! It's just very frustrating.
And I do think that if we don't get health care reform, the Democrats are going to be in trouble. I think it's time for Obama to crack the whip!
