Palin registers 80% support for 2012 POTUS run
Good news! The respected polling from NewsMax shows approval ratings for Sarah Palin at above 80%. Forget the biased polling from MSNBC/WSJ. The NewsMax gives us hope that the southern strategy of the GOP is also a strategy to rope in the stupid and nominate Sarah Palin in 2012.

3. I wonder how many Democrats voted in that poll?
I can't see that she will make it to 2012 before she self-destructs.

11. I know she will be a very easy opponent for Obama to defeat but
she gives me the willies like fingernails on a chalk board. I can't stand to hear her mangle the english language. She never completes a sentence and talks like a beauty queen. I don't know if I can take a drawn out presidential election with her always in the news.

13. New Smacks? Respected Polling? Bwahaha!
However, I encourage all idiots to support Sarah Palin as the GOP candidate for President in 2012. Further, I suggest Michele Bachmann as her running mate. Smack that, New Smacks.

As amusing as Palin is in her beliefs, low intellect, and mangling of the English language, she is very dangerous. I wouldn't want her to have any chance of getting near the presidency, even if the chance is slim.

Furthermore, I remember thinking that 2000 was going to be a cakewalk: a proven, very qualified Gore against a ersatz Texas idiot... and look what happened.

If she does run, the best case scenario would be if she did not get the GOP nomination and ran as an independent.

17. Remember Nixon...
...had a "last press conference" in 1962. Six years later, he was the friggin' President. I'm abivalent on this one. Odds are that she'll be revealed to be the ignoramus she really is. The great General "Vinegar Joe" Stillwell once said, "The higher a monkey climbs a pole, the more his ass will show."

However, the mere chance of her sitting in the Oval Office makes me consider plans to immigrate to Costa Rica. Or New Zealand.

20. I'm picking at nits here but ...
that should be emigrate, not immigrate.

It's kind of an entrance/exit thing. Same door. Different direction.

I hope she gets the nomination. She has no command of any issues now and I doubt that will change by 2012.

20% of all republicans and 100% of all democrats support her 2012 bid. Is there a petition I can sign?
