Dermatomyositis is an autoimmune disorder where a body attacks the capillary blood vessels of the skin and muscle.

This is a heart breaking story of a child's battle with dermatomyositis. Her parents created a blog to track the progress of their child, now approximately 10 years old. I have to warn you, the pictures you will see are extremely graphic and disturbing.
