Racist Teabaggers Exhibit Beck & Palin's Real Positions

Some things need no corroboration, but have some anyway.

If a picture is worth a thousand words: woman on left, backed by a huge crowd, screams at a pro healthcare advocate, as the woman on her right exhibits her racist sign depicting the U.S. President as a minstrel show performer.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The prejudice and bigotry overshadowing so-called 'tea party' events moved to the front of the bus over the weekend, and the neocon warriors beat the drum loudly enough to really drive the headlines this time.

One media outlet headline blasted that the teabagging became a full-blown Ku Klux Klan rally.

As House Democrats prepared for their final debate and vote on comprehensive health insurance reform, they could only hope that the floor proceedings would be more civil than the day before.

More civil, the Democrats stated in a press release, "than yesterday's despicable incidents with extremist tea party activists sent to the Capitol by Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck."

1. The collective brains of these teabaggers...
were there for the taking and were easily manipulated into collective frenzy. Now the frenzy has been hyped into over the top levels. The racism that was always there and always the motive behind this easily manipulated group is now at the level of anger where it just feels right to them to let it out loud and clear. It feels justified, but this ignorant and easily angered group are also those who are also not that well put together emotionally. They will fade into the background quickly.

2. Actually what we're seeing is the paleo's and the neo's break-up
Teabaggers are not neocons. They hate neocons almost as much as we do.

4. Not really
Even knowing what a neocon is requires that you can, you know, read and stuff.

5. Read the comments on Frum's piece
He's being called a Trotskyite. There are more or less smart paleo's, and they are pretty much done with hawkish social moderates (ie, neocons).

8. No. Frum is a neoconservative poster boy.
Socially moderate, fiscally moderate, hawkish.

9. I cannot find them
Are you referring to his "Waterloo" article? Comments have been shut down on that one.

I agree with your point: what I was hinting at was that paleoconservatives are not really teabaggers. Paleoconservatives might actually read books, but teabaggers? Not so much.

Any charges Frum is a Trotskyite are baseless: he's much more of a Straussian.
