Tea Party makes tracking political criminals easier for law enforcement, threats and apologies
Political protesters who threaten elected officials or turn violent are easier for law enforcement officials to track due to their vocal and high profile statements on the internet and their association with the Tea Party.

Federal officials said it is easy to connect the dots between Tea Party members who espouse violence through their online postings, email and threatening behavior at rallies.

"Monitoring people who pose real threats to elected officials has become easier," said an FBI source who could not be identified because he is not authorized to speak to the press. "We are looking at people who are traveling, purchasing weapons and conspiring to commit acts of violence."

One Tea Party leader in Va., complained to the state Attorney General for alleged harassment by the FBI, Secret Service and state police. Nigel Coleman wrote a letter detailing the alleged behavior at a Tea Party rally last summer. Read the letter here.

1. I look forward to the first wave of high-profile arrests
Surveillance in the internet age is made so much simpler due to a propensity on the part of freeps/teabaggers/militia types to post every thought that pops into their so-called brains on the internet for all their buds (and everyone else - including law enforcement) to see. Can we expect a sudden drop-off in chat-room traffic once the perp walks begin? Some may have enough presence of mind to STFU, but I'll bet others are so narcissistic that they won't be able to stop broadcasting their sick fantasies for all & sundry to see.

3. Aren't they planning a big rally at the Capitol (with their guns)
sometime this spring? Between all their public organizing on the internet and their actual attendance, it shouldn't be hard to locate the worst of them.

5. April 19th - The Second Amendment March
April 19th, by no coincidence, happens to mark the anniversaries of the fiery end at Waco, and the Oklahoma City bombing.

These folks are bat-shit crazy!

6. "Monitoring people who pose real threats to elected officials has become easier"
FBI says it's getting easier to track threats of violence from violence-prone crazy people. It's so much easier than tracking the non-existent threats of violence committed by nuns, Quakers, and pacifists. Gee, ya think? It's easier to track something that exists openly than something that doesn't even exist. To look for threats from pacifists, they have to spend months infiltrating and instigating. Now, to track real threats, all they have to do is walk into the public square with their eyes open. FBI'ing is getting so much easier these days.
