Nurses Union, A Great Example
of what WE the Average Citizens of America can do if we UNITE. The average citizens realize that since America has the Worst Wealth Distribution of any Civilized nation, it is putting the entire country in the hands of a very few. If we organize and Demand wealth equality, The return of our manufacturing base (Green Technology) and most of all a living wage with good benefits we can turn this country around.
Just like the New Nurses Union is doing. We can non-violently protest, millions strong, to restore the financial regulations that pulled us out of The GREAT DEPRESSION, which we are in again. We can demand fair taxation of the wealthiest earners. Not stop the progressive rate at people who earn $200,000 a year. We have people who are paid multi-millions a year, they should be taxed accordingly.Social entitlement programs? That is what the wealthy get. We need a strong safety net for our most vulnerable citizens, not a system that preys on them.
If we learn anything from the victorious striking nurses (who are also seeking Universal healthcare) it should be that There is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. Please, Let's organize and protest and DEMAND that our country is for and by the people, not just the wealthy people.

1. Meanwhile, in the executive suite...
...hospital CEx's are working hard to prevent any Union from coming into their facilities. I've seen this first hand, and it's ugly.

2. Before I joined the Carpenters Union
the companies used to do this to us all the time. The rich don't want to give up any control or money. If they were legitimate, they learned that they actually earned more money with a highly trained and motivated Union workforce.

6. Unfortunately, I can understand how
people consider the capitalistic state of America, the "Great Satan." I wish I could understand our politicians when they say "these people hate America because we are free." We are the least "free" nation in the civilized world. However, we are the worst aggressors and oppressors in the world. We spend 15x the combined amount of money of all the nations in the world, on our military. We all know that the troops aren't getting rich, but the MIC has wealth beyond comprehension. Sad doesn't touch it.
