THis report's release must be why Boehner made his ass-hole comment which was widely reported on M$M but I never heard anything (nor could I Google anything on M$M sites) about this latest CBO report on ARRA.

Of course, I was not watching all three networks at once. Good thing I rely on the internet for keeping informed. I just watch M$M to hear what the latest GOP talking points are. M$M, it's going down! So many rushing to the internet to find out what's really going on.

Did anybody hear anything on GOP media about this CBO report?

http://blog.reidreport.com/2010/08/cbo-recovery-act-boosted-jobs-gdp/

According to the CBO report, “Estimated Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on Employment and Economic Output from April 2010 through June 2010,” in the second quarter of 2010, the Recovery Act:

■Raised the level of real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product (GDP) by between 1.7 percent and 4.5 percent,
■Lowered the unemployment rate by between 0.7 percentage points and 1.8 percentage points,
■Increased the number of people employed by between 1.4 million and 3.3 million
The report can be viewed in full here. As Steve Benen puts it, the CBO has gone and stepped all over Boehner’s message.

2. You sure won't hear much about it here at DU, either, except from one or two posters
At least Rachel Maddow gives this information some good play -- she's been using that chart for several months, calling it the "bikini graph."
