Burning 'Twilight'
http://www2.dothaneagle.com/lifestyles/2010/sep/12/burning-twilight-ar-813914/

I’ve decided that it’s time to take a stand against the nefarious “Twilight” saga by holding a book-burning/covered dish supper at my house. Please bring banana pudding if you come.

“Twilight” has caused untold anguish and misery for millions of people worldwide who have been dragged to the movies by friends and significant others and forced to watch Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart stare at each other for 130 minutes per sitting. The books have corrupted the minds of many, leading them into the heretical beliefs that vampires sparkle, platonic relationships are good and that men are capable of emotions other than anger and a sort of flat contentment.

These people must be shown the error of their ways, and forced to admit the superiority of “True Blood.”

Caveat: Never seen or read any Twilight. Ditto True Blood.

But the contact slime from popular media has become rather irritating. Chaps my ass is a phrase that springs to mind.

Besides...the guy is funny.
