What a revelation to learn that the Justice Department lawyer who wrote the infamous memo in effect defending torture is now a U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals judge. It tells you all you need to know about the sort of conservative to whom George W. Bush is turning in his attempt to pack the federal courts.

1. The democrats should really make an issue out of this.

If I remember correctly, in crashcarts last speech when he further tried to imply an al-queda/Saddam connection he also went on a rant about the number of judicial appointments the democrats had stopped. Let the country know there is a reason. If they think this guy is bad, look at the ones who didn't get through congress.
