OFA, the organizing arm of the DNC, originally began its life as an organization trying to get someone elected on the platform of hope, change, and progressive policies. I like the idea of working together and letter writing to set the record straight, but I only wish it were for single payer, ending the war, or extending unemployment benefits. The working class have tightened their belts for several years to pay for the wealthy's tax cuts... Time to level the load....
