Study Confirms That Fox News Makes You Stupid
more: http://www.alternet.org/media/149193/study_confirms_that_fox_news_makes_you_stupid

December 15, 2010 |

Yet another study has been released proving that watching Fox News is detrimental to your intelligence. World Public Opinion, a project managed by the Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland, conducted a survey of American voters that shows that Fox News viewers are significantly more misinformed than consumers of news from other sources. What’s more, the study shows that greater exposure to Fox News increases misinformation.

So the more you watch, the less you know.

3. Both processes are no doubt in play.
You have to be pretty dumb to start, but continued exposure makes you dumber.

10. Not sure how I feel about that headline.
There is a difference between stupidity and ignorance and misinformed. Granted, I think willfully watching Faux News Channel is in and of itself indicative of stupidity, but....

13. I think most who watch FOX already stupid
continuously watching fox simply keeps you stupid with lies and fake stories. Also, if FOX is simple agreeing with your fixed way of being and ideology, they enforce what you already think. Anyone who thinks for themselves, and uses real facts to back up their opinions and thoughts, would never watch FOX for real, truthful information. I will turn into FOX on occasion just to see what lies and fabrications they are pushing for that day. I simply laugh, shake my head and when the stress of all the lies starts to get to me I simply turn back to MSNBC. Intelligent people cannot watch FOX at any length because it starts to really insult your intelligence. Those who watch 24hrs per day cannot be insulted by the lies because this happens to be their truth. It is so sad for me to see them dumbing down the already education challenged all the while trying to recruit others to their cause with the likes of Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. Their show is more than just misinformation, I believe it to be a calculated strategy by a powerful organization to keep this nation angry, fearful, divided and on edge. If they were off the air tomorrow, there would immediately be a peace in this country that would take the stress level in the country down by 50 %.........Then shut up Limbaugh, Hannity, Palin, Bachmann, Boenor, McConnell and others and the quiet and peace would be unbelievable and a calm would come over the country to start the healing. I can only wish for this to pass for all of us.
