June 21, 2004

A call to impeach

The previous president stained a dress and was impeached. The current president has stained our nation's reputation, run roughsod over our beloved Constitution and made the world far more dangerous, all in the relentless pursuit of his misguided fundamentalist, right-wing policies.

If the report of the 9/11 Commission is not sufficent grounds for the impeachment of George W. Bush, what is? Does anyone in Congress have the courage to take the first step and file articles of impeachment? Does the Star Tribune have the courage to call for such action?
