‘Humor writer’ names Olbermann a ‘target’ after Giffords shooting

A self-described humorist named a liberal cable news host a "target" on her blog the day after he denounced incendiary political rhetoric in response to an Arizona shooting that claimed the lives of six people, including a federal judge, a congressperson's aide, and a child.

Andrea Rouda's post entitled “Speaking of Target Practice” listed several historical figures who were murdered "by a crazy person" before naming MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, whom she referred to as "the Devil."

"What a waste, especially since there are so many good targets out still out there," she wrote. "Take Keith Olbermann."

She continued, "In the wake of yesterday’s horrific shooting of a young congresswoman, the Devil himself who walks among us in the form of a TV 'journalist' has decided that Sarah Palin and the Tea Party are responsible and is spreading his usual vitriol."

"Please, won’t somebody stop him?" Rouda concluded.

they would be expelled. If a co-worker made this kind of threat at the office, he would be fired. Both could possibly be charged with a crime. Why are these people allowed to make veiled threats and get away with it?

Here is my review:

I was able to get through a few pages of this boring cliche of a book before I was distracted by something more interesting, I think it was a strangely shaped mole on the back of my hand.

Infamous now for calling for the assassination of Keith Olberman on her blog (http://roto-rouda.blogspot.com/)less than 24 hours after the real assassination of six people and the attempted murder of 14 others in Arizona on January 9, 2011 including Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Mrs. Rouda has proven to be neither funny, insightful or witty nor does she have the basic human qualities of decency or compassion.

Her blog, like her book, is not funny but is, instead, a forum for Mrs. Rouda to call out those she doesn't like including "fat people," her "asshole" in-laws, marines, Haitians, the 911 memorial, people who have jobs at desks, popular movies and television.

Ironically for all her hate of "morbidly obese" people, she is fond of Rush Limbaugh. This was the only instance in which I found Mrs. Rouda funny and it was unintentional on her part.

She also, according to her, prefers the word nigger to the sanitized "N-word."

Don't waste your time with this sad pathetic second hand clothing store owner trying vainly to be a humorist. Stick to used clothes, Mrs. Rouda, I assume you are able to eek out a living in that field as long as your customers don't find out what a hate filled person you are.

Her blog is still up but the ability to leave comments has been removed.
