Loughner's ramblings appear rooted in far right
The ramblings of accused Arizona killer Jared Lee Loughner are difficult to tie to a coherent political philosophy, yet in them can be discerned a number of themes drawn from the right-wing patriot and militia movements, experts said.

Analysts on the left and the right have debated Loughner's disjointed Internet and YouTube postings, each finding fodder to blame the other for inspiring the 22-year-old.

Most wind up concluding that Loughner suffered from mental problems. But experts said that several oft-repeated phrases and concepts — his fixation on grammar conspiracies, currency and the "second United States Constitution" — seem derived from concepts explored with regularity among elements of the far right.

"What you can see across the board in his writings is the idea that you can't trust the government — that the government engages in mind control against its citizens," said Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which has long monitored the radical right.

Loughner's assertion that he would not "pay debt with a currency that's not backed by gold and silver" is a running theme among right-wing opponents of the Federal Reserve system.

1. Since when did the right believe the government was engaging in mind control?
Are they all going nuts too?

6. From November 2000 on, most of us didn't trust the government, either.
I'm not sure...does that make us far right?

8. Well in my case I haven't trusted government since the 1960's but I have reasons why I
don't after growing up in an era where government declared liberals had no rights. Liberals took to the streets because of injustices that stopped brown people from voting. Liberals took to the streets because they were lied to about a war. The government sent in police armed to the teeth as well as National Guard to prevent liberals from exercising their right to assemble as well as stopping them from exercising their civic duty to question their government. Liberals also were infiltrated by the right and law enforcement who stirred up the violence.

Liberals did not bring guns or clubs to these protests, yet often they were met with violence from government agencies. The weatherman under ground came about because of government tactics against them and only acted after Kent State, I'm not saying they were right in their actions, just that is what it is. Tea bagging R's on the other hand have showed up at public events armed, made threats to government officials and not one of them have ever met a riot squad, yet they are oppressed by government. Remember unlike the liberals, conservatives created the very government that they are complaining against.

Here is the kicker, liberals were oppressed, conservatives are taking to the streets for crap they made up in their heads while listening to right wing hate radio. Liberal distrust of government has fact of oppression, conservative distrust of government only started after a black guy was elected as president and made up in their minds, they are just as crazy as the shooter in AZ, just they came unarmed this time.
