The Media is Giving Palin more than her 15 Minutes of Fame |
|
How many Vice Presidential hopefuls do you remember hearing from after a losing bid with a presidential candidate 20, 30 or 40 years ago ? In this day and age the norm is to follow up your 15 minutes of fame with reality shows and speeches making tons of money. And that is what the governor who quit her 1st term in office is doing, cashing in on her opening to prosperity and she can't be blamed for that, everyone has the right to make a living.
However, with the recent tragedy in AZ, we're beginning to hear the back and forth of whether the rhetoric has any part in this act of violence. And the person leading the charge for her to continue to be a valid spokesperson or even the thought of running for president of the U.S. lies in the hands of a few people like Comcast, CBS, ABC, CNN FOX and more who continue to report on her every action daily. How can this be ?
If any of them were responsible and not ratings prostitutes, they would cease giving her any air time and like most would fade away into the sunset. Do they truly take a person who aspires to be president seriously when she has a blackberry tied to her hand at all times and answers her critics on social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Fox. Wouldn't a responsible person with the idea she can be president have no qualms about appearing on ALL the news talk shows and not just the selected one where she continues to spout jibes towards the left and democrats about the gunman who perpetrated this terrible tragedy. So much for civility. And that alone shows her unworthiness for holding any office.
So I plead with the media, for once, stop giving her face time on your networks. She is a dangerous person who is on the defense now and that is the perfect time to stop her phoniness from gaining anymore legitimacy in the near future and just let her fade away. Do we really need another George Bush on steroids ?

7. Sarah gets ratings as the T&A spectacle that attracts the |
|
white male audience that buys the products they advertise. Sarah is a commercial TV draw for those that are orgasmic fantasizing a President Palin SOTU speech where they can watch with a beer in one hand, and their willy in the other. So as long as that audience is out there panting in Teabaggerland, the media will run with it.
On NPR or PBS Newshour....not so much.
