2. Yummy pallets with piles of cash... too tempting
I heard yesterday that one of the Iraqi foreign ministers declared (on the official declaration forms we all have to fill out) that he carried on his person US $64 million in cash. He legally declared it so they did nothing about it. Where did that cash end up at? A Swiss bank or a numbered account in the Caymans? Or a cave on the border with Pakistan? Who knows???

The flights with unaccounted for pallets full of cash that fuel the bribes and fund the wars are a shameful example.

5. Quoth George Carlin: "Pull out? Doesn't sound manly to me. I say we keep it in there and get
the job done. After all, that IS what we're doing to that country..."

(About Vietnam, from "Class Clown".)

6. a pipeline carrying oil from Caspian basin through Afghanistan to Pakistan & India

TAPI pipeline:

Part of why we are perpetually pissed off at Iran is they can offer competing routes, denying US backed companies of a monopoly:

I'm sure Wall Street likes having a piece of the opium action too:

7. I expect there's a lot of truth in what you say; nothing like a pipeline!
