2. Juan Cole dishonest

I read Juan Cole every day, and I value his expertise.

However, his Democratic bias clouds his reason. He was very much against the Iraq war (as was I), but instead of criticizing Kerry's wanting to expand the war, he offers some bizzarre rationale, stating Kerry has a great plan.

Now he is shilling for Edwards.

Let me just remind everyone:*Edwards is a pro-war candidate!* All his fancy answers won't change that. He voted for the war and has been unapologetic for his vote. He said we needed to get rid of Saddam becaue of his WMDs. Hello? Is Edwars pulling a Cheney? There are no WMDs. And the world is defintely not a safer place.

I just did a bit of Juan Cole bashing. But look on the same page what he says abut Mylroie, whose crackpot-Saddam-is-behind-all-terrorism theories got us into war.
