"Tenet's major mistake was to trade pliancy for access to Bush and budget largesse. But it was Bush, Cheney, and the Defense Department civilians who politicized intelligence analysis to suit their policy needs. It would only compound that original error if the Roberts committee politicized its analysis of what went wrong."

2. Actually if the freepers decide to scapegoat the CIA
Then they will truly unmask their hypocritical selves, because all along we've heard "it was about freeing Iraqis!" "There are still weapons of mass destruction!"

So NOW if they say "well it was a bad idea to go to war but it's the CIA NOT BUSH'S fault" it will be a flip flop wouldn't you say?

3. This Won't Work
Just as Ken Lay is responsible for the failures of Enron, Bush is responsible for the failures of the US and the CIA. He's the boss. Now in truth we all know that they CIA was pushed to conclude a certain way in regards to Iraq. Cheney stood in the background over at Langley and cracked the whip.
