Tax the Rich or Riots Will Rage in 2012
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (MarketWatch) — What a year. Rage in London, Egypt, Athens, Damascus. All real. Just a metaphor in the new “Planet of the Apes” film? No, much more. Warning: More rage is dead ahead. Across our planet a new generation is filled with rage. High unemployment. Raging inflation. Dreams lost. Hope gone. While the super -rich get richer and richer.

Listen to that hissing: The fuse is rapidly burning, warning us. Wake up before the rage explodes in your face. This firestorm is endangering America’s future. From forces outside, yes. But far more deadly, from deep within our collective psyche. We have lost our moral compass. We are self-destructing.

Crackpot warning? No. This warning comes from the elite International Monetary Fund. A recent IMF report looked at “the causes of the two major U.S. economic crises over the past 100 years, the Great Depression of 1929 and the Great Recession of 2007,” writes Rana Foroohar, an economics editor at Time magazine.

“There are two remarkable similarities in the eras that preceded these crises. Both saw a sharp increase in income inequality and household-debt-to-income ratios.” And in each case, “as the poor and middle-class were squeezed, they tried to cope by borrowing to maintain their standard of living.”

2. I'm afraid you've got it backwards
The riots (and strikes, I hope) will have to come before the rich are sufficiently frightened to allow their taxes to go up.

But yes, they will happen. There is little way to stop them now, not even if somebody put Progressivism into the drinking water in DC.

This country is going to have to get a whole lot uglier before it has a chance of improving.

3. Let's face it, American's own a lot of guns. ...
... and the working men and women of this country have access to every asshole rich prick. Someones gonna fight club their asses, so to speak. And I won't shed a single tear.

The problem is that that riots tend to allow the less, shall we say, "civic minded" among us to steal and worse from the working class while the cops are too busy protecting the rich.

4. America is under siege by these pricks. Eventually the masses will
all wake up. Even the teabaggers will eventually wake up. Sadly little has ever gotten done just because it was the right thing to do, so they will continue to rob the masses until stopped.

7. When we go, and it will happen, it will be very large. We don't do small in this land.
We are a land of extremes. Once that social fabric is breached, we will see a firestorm of epic proportions. Last time we barely staved it off by getting the man we needed, FDR. This time we have the man we deserve, and they are not nearly the same thing. Just waiting for food insecurity to breach the magic number, nothing makes a person desperate like hunger does.

Nothing is as powerfull as hunger, to get people out demanding some heads on a Stake... Most of the revolutions, at least sinse 1789, have been when pepole have been hungry enough to demand rights... And if the government was not able, or willing to understand how bad things was.. Heads was rolling, literaly and figural...

Last time, in the 1930s, US really dogded the bulled, when they was able to wote in FDR. Even tho he was not able to make miracles he did a lot to help the common pepole, and he had the vicedom to understand how bad things was, before he got elected.. And he had posible managed a 5 time in the White House, had he not been sick and died in 1945.. Just before Hitler and NAZI Germany was defeated.. But he died in the wicedom, that Hitler would be dead. sooner or later. And that USA would prosper... As it did for many, many years.. And FDR was vice enough, to speak to the pepole, who was in troubles, and give them HOPE of a better future than current.. He was smart enough to get out, and se how bad things was.. Both before he was elected President, and after he was elected president.. And as many of you older DU'er have told, FDR was a man who was admired by many, many who else had been in the lines, trowing stones of the mighty and powerfull in the revolution.. if it ever had come to US...

Untill the elites and the old enemies of the commomn man was rising their heads again.. They never learned the leasssons last time, they just bidded their time.... And now they belive they are as powerfull as they ever was.. They had to hide, and to play nice becosue they was afraid of what could happend, if the pepole got enough last time around.. When it really was a posibility that the americans could revolt against the government.. Many of the powerbrokers of the day, was scared shit about that posibility.. Today they are not that afraid, as they belive the commons are not willing, or ableminded to go out in the streets in their ten of thousands, maybe millions to demand changes...

But it can happend, as it did in Paris in 1789, in Berlin the 1800s, in St Petersburg in 1905 and 1917... and as it did many other places in the 20th century, when peopole demanded a change from what they had... Even the end of the cold war, the end of the Berlin Wall an all that, was about changes, and the disability of the government to do what should have been doing for many years... And it all ended in ways that was never belived before it ended..

And US IS a land of the extremes.. When US really go over the top, in one way or another, US really go over the top, and go to the extremes.. I just hope it dosen't explode in a hell fire all of it..

8. Well, right now there are 2 prolonged occupations of the rich's and powerful's
playgrounds planned in the next 2 months - Wall Street and Washington DC.

Wall Street for 17 Sept http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbusters-blog/occupywallstreet.html

and Washington DC for 6 October http://october2011.org/welcome

I think people are fed up and about to explode. Peaceful protests are outlets for this rage. I just hope the rage does not get out of control and explode into riots.

Hate Radio and Big Media have the great unwashed convinced that the problems are everything BUT what they really are - namely Hate Radio, Big Media, and every last member of the Republican party. This is nothing but wishful thinking.
