Russell Simmons: "I Am Asking The United States Government To Raise My Taxes"

By Russell Simmons 1 hour 3 min ago

Today I will join in solidarity the peaceful protesters at Liberty Plaza in New York City who are "Occupying Wall Street."

For far too long in this country we have allowed the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer.

I believe in a nation where everyone gets a fair share of the fruits of our labor and where everyone pays a fair share for what they receive.

2. I'm am so tired of this meme
Like America is a charity. How would they be able to budget a charity for a 10 year span? Talk about lowing standards...so now our country will be a third world country, asking for donations?

4. I really wish we could segregate...
All the people who think education, roads, parks, fire departments, police departments, etc. etc. are bad things could be cordoned off into their own little hell-hole, and leave the rest of us to live under a progressive tax system similar to Clinton's.

And when they cross over into our area, we charge them fees for use.

Def Jam recordings are done in the US of A, with American artists and American hangers-on and American groupies.
