Occupy Wall Street: What’s It All About?
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/occupy-wall-street-180649581.html;_ylt=AtTFILL4v4Z2OVs2tvg5qwC7YWsA;_ylu=X3oDMTE4a25xbXJsBHBvcwMyBHNlYwNGUERhaWx5VGlja2VyQmxvZwRzbGsDYXBpbWFnZXM-?sec=topStories&pos=9&asset=&ccode=

Here are some thoughts from the front line:
--"Personally I am here to tell these big corporations to get their money out of my politicians' pockets so my politicians can work for me and for my family and my friends like we elected them to do." - Steve, unemployed college graduate and aspiring actor.
--"This tremendous wealth in a few hands is ruining our democracy. The income distribution over my lifetime has changed in the most extraordinary way." - Evalie, the Granny Peace Brigade
--"There is something seriously wrong when you've got a very, very tiny percentage of the country, a small number of the country, controlling so much of its wealth" - Bill, unofficial spokesman for Occupy Wall Street
--"We feel that corporations have more of a voice and more rights than individuals, and we are here to talk about it." - Ryan, associate producer

***********************************************
I see a direct correlation to the uprisings against oppressive powers governing the middle east. The Citizens United case and especially the perjuring {during Senate confirmation hearings} neofascist judges on our Supreme Court really put the icing on the cake.

Nice try by the Right Wing Big Corporate MSM to ignore this. It will go away like it did in Tunesia, Egypt and Lybia, where there are a lot of formerly emplyeds in the MSM business.

3. No matter what, FEED THE PROTESTERS !
From the emptywheel.net web site.

Someone down at Occupy Wall Street noted that a bunch of food trucks are gathering around the protest. Four of them would be able to take orders for the protesters. So if you want to feed those trying to hold the banksters accountable, call one of these food trucks.

Lemongrass Grill – Thai – 212.809.8038

Alfanoose – Middle Eastern – 212.528.4669

Toloache Taqueria – 212.809.9800

Liberatos Pizza – 212.344.3464

("John Galt" is really "Daniel Plainview.")
