Homeland Security Chair: OWS "Anarchists" |
|
Homeland Security Chair Calls Occupy Wall Street Protesters ‘Ragtag Mob,’ ‘Anarchists’ By Hayley Miller on October 7th, 2011
WASHINGTON -- Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) joined Herman Cain among the ranks of Republican pols who are unimpressed with the Occupy Wall Street protesters and their nationwide counterparts, calling them a "ragtag mob" and "anarchists" on the Laura Ingraham radio show Friday.
"The fact is these people are anarchists. They have no idea what they're doing out there," King said. "They have no sense of purpose other than a basically anti-American tone and anti-capitalist. It's a ragtag mob basically."
King, whose Long Island district includes many Wall Street commuters, dismissed the demonstrators as "a bunch of angry 1960s do-overs" trying "to create chaos and take away the focus on the Obama record." ....................
"We have to be careful not to allow this to get any legitimacy," he warned. "I'm taking this seriously in that I'm old enough to remember what happened in the 1960s when the left-wing took to the streets and somehow the media glorified them and it ended up shaping policy," he said. "We can't allow that to happen."

9. No and yes. Get a clue. If you understand politics, what's so hard about right-wingers? |
|
No, they don't think before they speak. They don't BELIEVE in thinking, they don't TRUST it. They go out of their way to cultivate brain-stem reactions that short-circuit thinking entirely. If they DO think, they hate it and try to suppress it with pharmaceuticals.
Yes, they wish we were still in Vietnam. The number of Americans lost was trivial, and with some minor tweaking of the draft system, they could have ALL been poor or minorities. War economies are more prosperous. War is masculine and heroic, and toughens up a society. Being in wars gives a certain tone to the rest of government. Military discipline and obedience are vastly preferable to human independence. They, or at least some of their intellectuals, talk lustfully about permanent global war.

2. It's not the anarchists who are shaping policy--it's the unemployed and underemployed, and |
|
the people who see the "middle class" disappearing out of sheer greed.

And if you injure us, we will tell the world and sue your asses off.
We will boycott you, default on you, refuse to vote for your pet politicians, deny your endless greed and bloodlust.

The fat cat is the anarchist, wanting a lack of regulation and a government too weak to touch him.
OWS want government as an entity that stands with the people against the powerful reinstated. That's quite the opposite from anarchy.

Anarchy is the absence of laws and regulations...that's what they want. Of course, I suppose without a government there wouldn't be any currancy?

23. No government = no money and no property. |
|
Money and ownership are abstract concepts directly connected to the abstract concept of government. Money has no inherent value.
