1. The 'Murkins will continue to believe what they were told, regardless
That's why lying needs penalties.

(Although, in this case, the liars can always say they THOUGHT they were right)

2. As if the liars would penalize themselves! Rich people might get poorer if they do that! nt

3. I don't expect them to penalize themselves, I expect Americans to demand punishment
when liars talk us into hurting ourselves.

4. The liars own the Treasury, the cops, the military, and electronic voting machines.
The fight is rigged.

5. No argument there, but we didn't get here overnight.
We should have been fighting this sort of thing for decades.

Even now, far too many DUers are okay with lying, under the assumption that free speech covers any amount of damage the liars can do.

7. I think it would be fabulous to make pols tell the truth. I think it's impossible
when the most important thing in the world is to make rich people richer. I don't know how that 'value' will ever change.

8. Then, in the long run, I'd say we have no chance whatsoever.
And we might as well stop fighting and just roll with it.

Liars always have an advantage; they can say anything (whatever gets them what they want) while honest people are stuck with the truth (which doesn't always sell).

9. I don't expect the Degenerate whores of the GOP to ever agree they are liars, whores and hypocrites.
but I am sure as hell not going to stop telling people what the truth is in personal converstions, here on DU and on various M$M sites. Disinformation plays an incalculably valuable role in furthering the GOP's agenda to replace Democracy in America with a Corporate Feudalist system. I will never aquiesce in the promotion of a Big Lie, spoken or written. I will always and forever speak out against it.

Frankly, I think anybody who says speaking out against disinformation....'just ain't worth it (sigh).', might just as well pick out their spot on the nearest bridge and jump off.

12.  Hardly a practical approach. No other way? ....nonsense.
I am very bored by conversations about the existence of a God, Flying Saucers and armed revolution.
