Help this nut job return to Earth. Read my response to her.
This article appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle today. It was the lead headline on Google news when I got online just now. I couldn't resist the urge to blast this numb shit. You might find it fun to do the same.

Bush Won the Debate With Kerry

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2004/10/02/EDG8E92FVG1.DTL

Here's my response:

Lady, you must have drank an extra glass of the kool-aid to be as distantly removed from reality as your recent article suggests. "Bush won the debate with Kerry"??? What debate were you watching? Surely you must be joking.

While John Kerry outlined a plan for returning America to a position of respect, credibility, and just leadership of the world, your guy Bush whined about how much "hard work" he's had to do. No surprise that he's overwhelmed by the job -- he's never had to actually work at anything in his life.

Get a grip. To even suggest that Bush held his own is a laughable and indefensible position. The best is yet to come for Kerry, as two more debates loom. It looks like George the Lesser still has some "hard work" ahead of him if he has any prayer of holding onto the job he was "selected" to do.

Step away from the Kool-Aid!

1. There is no hope for Debra Saunders
Writing her is a complete waste of time. If you feel the need to respond, write a letter to the editors to refute her arguments. You'll have a much better chance of swaying her readers' opinions than you will of swaying her opinions.

2. She will reply
get ready for a typical freeper reply....meaning not very professional.

She told me that I was a typical left wing liberal and reactive.

3. Oh, poor pitiful George

Is so true, it is hard work to him. He never has had to work in his life. You can tell he is wearing himself down with all the vacation that he is taking.

4. Right to the Point...
I think I'll use your comments for my letter to the editor AZ republic, but I'll make it not specific to anyone but to all. I also want to add that I hope the newspaper, knowing the clear choice, will endorse John Kerry.

The newspaper never endorsed Prez Clinton, and he won twice in AZ. We had a lot more republicans back then. Now we have even more Democrats.

This is the time to write letters to the editor.

5. I have to ask
What in the world could Mr. Kerry have said that she would have accepted? I'll admit, I'm a bit troubled that he voted for the resolution too, but I think he explained it pretty well. Why doesn't she ask, why did Mr. bush invade Iraq? Isn't that a more pressing question? We didn't invade because of Mr. Kerry's vote, it was because Mr. bush brought it up in the first place when no one else was even thinking about Iraq.

6. I sent her an email.... not that it will make a difference in her views...
Here is a copy of the one I sent her..

=======================
I know it won't change your biased views...but just know that your supporting a person that may send one of your loved ones to fight for him. Your analysis of the debate was so limbaughish that its sickening.

Please encourage all your OWN family to sign up and "Defend" America. Just don't complain to anyone when our economy continues to struggle or more of the world hates the U.S. or when your nieces and nephews are "Drafted" to fight in what cheney has said will be a war that could last fifty years or more.

Good Grief.. people like you make me sick..

7. I just write a long and scathing letter
Using both the text of the act, aqnd the text of Kerry's op-ed piece in 2002 and stated that Kerry did not vote for "Bush's War" and that he disregarded the restriction laid out in the autorization.

That use of force would not be considered until all peaceful nad diplomatic measures were exhausted, ot that Saddam Hussein was proven to be in some way involved with the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001.

And that it has been the media all along who have created the false impression that Kerry's vote, indeed anyones vote for this act was an authorization for Bush's hasty actions.

And that Bush was required to proide PROOF that he had met the conditions no later than 48 hours after engaging in the use of force.

I vehemently blamed the media for first creating the truth, and then using it to back up its own opinion.

Or at least of sheer laziness infailing to read the act, and to cite its content.
