It was a fierce debate last night. Edwards, a one time trial lawyer crusading for the poor against wrong doing insurance companies, was the star of the night poking holes in the Bush Administration's lies. Dick Cheney, the true brain behind the Bush Administration and it's policies, often seemed perturbed by Edwards ability to shine the light of day onto Cheney's lies. 1. Don't you wish there were more time to really discuss all that's wrong

with this administration? Just not enough time.

My thoughts about the VP debate is that it's small potatoes. What counted was that Edwards didn't make any critical mistakes & he was knowledgeable. The irony of the debates is that they're mismatched: Kerry should be debating Cheney & Edwards should be debating the coWard (Cheney's puppet). When I imagine Kerry up against either the coWard or Cheney, I think how lucky we are that he was chosen as the Democratic candidate. He could ably handle either one & come out smelling like a rose.
