TV company off base on 'news event' (Zanesville OH)

On its Web site, Sinclair Broadcasting Group publishes a "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics" which purports to the be the "source of guiding principles for directors and their employees."

However, we're not certain any of the current administration of that company has read the code or plans to abide by it. <snip>

Their spokesman, Mark Hyman, apparently thinks viewers should put aside the fact that he regularly espouses strident conservative viewpoints in his commentary, "The Point." They should not. <snip>

Sinclair needs to do the right thing and pull this "news event" immediately. It's purpose won't be to serve the public.
